WWOE

Oh magnify the lord with me and let us exalt his name together!

As I was asking God on yesterday what to say in the WWOE (Wednesday Words of Encouragement) and he said to tell my people to stop going to other sources for only what I can give them.

We must stop escapism! Escapism is the avoidance of reality by absorption of the mind in entertainment or in an imaginative situation, activity, etc.

Examples of escapism are:
Using drugs and alcohol
Excessive sleeping
Using pornography
Smoking cigarettes
Eating excessively
Sleeping around
Church Highs (Going to church on Sunday only to receive a “touch” to feel better, however not living for God everyday)
Excessive Shopping
Excessive TV/Movie watching

I’m sure this list can go on and on. But I think you get the point. We do not have to engage in any of these activities. God is our source for everything! Have we really tried him? Or do we just talk about it and are still bound?

Men and women of God play time is over! NOW is the time to tighten up!

And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
Romans 13:11

I encourage you to give God everything today even if the situation is real ugly!

Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.
Psalm 55:22

I encourage you to give God your problems today even if it seems impossible!

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
1 Peter 5:7

WWOE-Wednesday Words of Encouragement

Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Psalm 106:1

Praise the Lord everybody! Everybody praise the Lord!

When I woke up this morning and began to pray, the goodness of the Lord just began to overtake me! I began to think of all of the many blessings that he has bestowed upon me. And as I began to thank him,

Another yes to his will and too his way came out of my spirit,

Another yes to presenting my body a living sacrifice holy and acceptable which is my reasonable service came out of my spirit.

Another yes to seeking him first and with a whole heart came out of my spirit.

Has the weight of the world been on your shoulders lately?

Have you been feeling disheartened because of all of the trouble in your life?

Have you lost your zeal or fire for the things of God?

Your praise will produce a yes in your spirit!

Your praise will produce promise!!! I heard a great man of God say from process to promise!

You must go through the process to get to the promise but sometimes going thru the process can be tough and you can get weary and feel like giving up!

But oh my when you begin to praise him!

You provoke the spirit of the lord and he comes to dwell with you!

And where the spirit of the lord is there is liberty!!

You can’t help but get free!

You can’t help but say yes to God!

You cant help but be loosed!

I encourage you to praise God in spite of your circumstances , because this is Gods will for you!

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
1 Thessalonians 5:18

I encourage you to praise God even in your heaviness, because he will turn your mourning into dancing again!

To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
Isaiah 61:3

I encourage you to praise God, with all that is within in you because the joy of the lord is your strength!

Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our LORD: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.
Nehemiah 8:10

But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel. ... But thouart holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel. ...
Psalm 22:3

I encourage you to praise God, praise God, and praise God some more!!!!

Much love and blessings to all of you!

Lack of Integrity in the "Church".

The ancient Chinese built the "Great Wall" which stretches for several thousand miles, to ensure their security from foreign invaders. Yet during the first hundred years after the wall was completed, China was successfully invaded three times, not by going over the wall or tearing it down, but by bribing the guards and simply marching through the gates. China spent years building the "Great Wall" but didn't spend enough time building the character of the gatekeepers.

A recent experience and past experiences that I have had made me begin to look around and see that character and Integrity have been thrown out of the window in the world and in the church! We sometimes we are the worst offenders of this.

No wonder sinners can’t come to repentance It’s because they see no difference between the "Church" and the "World" and I’m not speaking about how long your skirt is, or if you wear jewelry or not. I’m speaking about your character and integrity which far out weights that. When these things are intact your dress will line up with your character and integrity. That is another email on another day.

Today I am talking about how you present yourself to others or as they say how you "Represent" Jesus!

Are we afraid to confront this issue?

I’m not! And with God’s help I will.

Lets first start with the definition of Integrity

What is integrity?
1. Adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character; honesty. 2. The state of being whole, entire, or undiminished: to preserve the integrity of the empire. 3. A sound, unimpaired, or perfect condition: the integrity of a ship's hull.

Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; therefore I shall not slide.
Psalm 26:1

Lack of integrity could be some of the following.

Do we tell someone we are going to do something for them and then don’t? If there are not extenuating circumstances we are simply lying to the person when we don’t keep our word.

Lay not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
Colossians 3:9

Do we say yes when you really mean no? Or vice versa? Sometimes we do this because we are trying to please or impress the person we are speaking too instead of pleasing God.

But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, and neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.
James 5:12

Do we use people for our own gain without disregard for the person we are using? We will get brother so & so to come and fix our car. But we never call him any other time to just say hello only when we want something. Or do we call the Pastor to put in a request for him to pray for us and our problems only to get off of the phone and tune into our favorite television show?

For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice.James 3:16

These are only a few examples of lack of integrity; the list can go on and on. Are we dealing with our lack of integrity? Or are we sweeping it under the rug hoping that no one will see it?

Let’s stop praying for a husband/wife, house, and car!!!

Please don’t get me wrong the word of God says let your requests be made know unto him.

But if we don’t have Godly integrity we will have a hard time keeping or won’t be able to keep the husband/wife, house and car!

Let us begin to seek the Lord for Godly Integrity.

Let us seek him first!

Let us ask God to create in us a clean heart!

Let us ask God to renew our minds!

Then the change will come!!!

Then we will see sinners come to salvation because they will see a difference!!!!

I encourage you to begin to hold yourself accountable for your actions!

I encourage you to begin to hold your brothers and sisters accountable for their actions!

I encourage you to set standards for yourself!

Now is the time for us and to take our rightful place in this world. That is a place of power, victory and authority so that God may get the glory in our lives and that someone can look at our lives and say. "What must I do to be saved?"

Much love and blessings to all of you!
