Wednesday Words Of Encouragement

As I was seeking the lord in prayer and worship on yesterday the Lord gave me the following scripture:

Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
Psalm 16:11

I want to encourage you all to seek or continue to seek the Lord and he will show you the path of life. I can not apologize for being redundant because it is very easy to get derailed dealing with life, therefore we need constant reminders to seek the Lord.

Car broke down again and you just picked it up from the shop.....keep seeking the Lord.

Caught husband/ wife checking out porn on the internet..........keep seeking the Lord.

Found out son/daughter is gay.............keep seeking the Lord.

Having a bad hair day.................keep seeking the Lord.

Mother/Father just diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.......keep seeking the Lord.

Just got laid off and found out they hired someone the next day for the same job making less money than you.....keep seeking the Lord.

Family pet died.....................keep seeking the Lord.

Bank account is overdrawn and you have two checks floating......................keep seeking the Lord.

I know someone of these scenarios are funny (I hope you got a good laugh) and I know some of them are heavy however this is life!!! And dealing with life can get you off track. However when we seek God on a consistent basis he will show us the path of life and we can have joy even in the midst of the ups and downs.

I encourage you to seek the Lord! If you are off track start today getting back on the God track!

Much love and many blessings.

Wednesday Words Of Encouragement

Bless the Lord O my soul and all that is within me bless his holy name!

As we go through out our lives it is easy to get caught up in the things that we must deal with on a daily basis. Our relationships, jobs, finances, etc. However I want to encourage you today not to place so much emphasis on these things to the point that we forget God.

Let us not forget God! Let us not forget God! Let us not forget God!

Yes I said it three times because we forget God! We remember him maybe on Wednesday when we go to bible class. Some of us only remember him on Sunday when we go to church. Then some of remember him only when we need something. Then we call him and expect him to answer! Sounds like some of our relationships don’t it! We won’t go there. And some of us have totally forgotten God! We are too busy with doing our own thing to take time out for him. And I don’t just mean showing up at church. But I mean taking out some time in our days to just say thank you God, I appreciate you for who you are. Taking time to show some one the love of God by doing something nice for them not expecting anything in return. Taking time to pray and read his word.

I want to encourage you to get back to God! REMEMBER HIM! Don’t forget about the one who is making your entire world possible. World meaning your man, your woman, your kids, your job, your money and your play!

My dear brothers and sisters I am so adamant about this because I know that God only wants the best for each and everyone of us but we will miss it if we fail to invite him into our lives, if we fail to bring him into our world. As I have said and will continue to say God is our source! Everything flows from him. Let’s remember him.

I encourage you to read the following scriptures:

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
1 Corinthians 2:9

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
St. Matthew 6:19-21

And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
St. Luke 21:34-36

Much love and many blessings.

Wednesday Words of Encouragement

Great is the Lord and he is greatly to be praised.

Are you struggling in any areas right now? Such as your spiritual walk? Your career? Your relationships? If your are I want to let you know that you can overcome your struggles. How do we do it you ask? By setting our minds on and by seeking God! Yes it is that simple. See everything that we need is wrapped up in Jesus Christ he is our life. So if he is our life then why are we seeking everything else every where else? We need to seek and set our minds on the one who is the giver of life! Because Jesus is our source! If we are not tapped into our source how do we expect for everything to run smoothly in our spiritual walk, career, and relationships? What source have you been drawing your power from?

I encourage you today to tap into your resource which is Christ!

If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
Colossians 3:1-4

I encourage you to seek the Lord so that you can live!

For thus saith the LORD unto the house of Israel , Seek ye me, and ye shall live:
But seek not Bethel , nor enter into Gilgal, and pass not to Beersheba : for Gilgal shall surely go into captivity, and Bethel shall come to nought.
Seek the LORD, and ye shall live; lest he break out like fire in the house of Joseph, and devour it, and there be none to quench it in Bethel .
Amos 5:4-6

My dear brothers and sisters I cannot encourage you enough to seek the Lord like never before. I am definetly not trying to stir any fear in you because God has not given us the spirit of fear. Now is the time to awake from the sleep and to walk in the divine authority that God has given us. But it takes a made up mind to do this. A mind that is sold out to God and his way of doing things.

And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. 12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. 13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. 14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
Romans 13:11-14

Much love and many blessings to all of you.

Wednesday Words of Encouragement

Praise the Lord everybody! Everybody praise the Lord!

Do you feel like you are in a constant battle? Know this! If you are proclaiming the name of Christ and living for him then the adversary, satan, the devil is after you!
Are you having a hard time in standing in the battle? Are you losing the battle? As I heard a great man of God say on this past Sunday its time to have a made up mind! See when we are double minded it’s hard to stand, because a double minded man is unstable in all of his ways, and this allows the devil to come in and devour us When we don’t mind it won’t matter what you have to do to win!!! In other words when our mind is made up its easy to stand and God will help us!

My dear brothers and sisters my prayer is that you would take heed to these words. God wants you to succeed at making it into heaven!

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
2 Peter 3:9

However we must be clear that some will not make it to heaven and will go to hell.

And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
1 Peter 4:18

I will continue to reiterate that now is the time to do what we need to do secure our eternal future.

Now is not the time for playing games with our souls!

Now is not the time for being wishy-washy when it comes to spiritual matters!

Now is not the time for double mindedness concerning salvation.

As I am out witnessing I ask those that do not know Christ if you die today will you go to heaven or will you go to hell? I’m asking the saints the same question on today. If you die today will you go to heaven or will you go to hell. Think about it.

I encourage you today to make up your mind to stand with God and not straddle the fence.

And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.
1 Chronicles 28:9

I encourage you today to get serious about your relationship with God.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
1 Peter 5:8

I encourage you today to seek the Lord wholeheartedly.

But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.

Much love and many blessings.

Wednesday Words Of Encouragement

Oh magnify the Lord with me and let us exalt his name together.

God is great and greatly to be praised.

Greetings in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

How many of us are doing everything that we need to do spiritually, going to church, receiving powerful word, reading your bible and praying and not experiencing any change? As a powerful man of God put it to us on this past Sunday our mindset must change to experience a change!
There must be a change in our thinking in order for God to move!
We can not think the same worldly way and expect to receive a change. It will not happen!
And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish.
Luke 5:37

I encourage you to renew you minds everyday with the word of God!

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Romans 12:2

I encourage you to change your thinking to God’s thinking!

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

I encourage you to begin to meditate on the word of God!

But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
Psalm 1:2

Much love and many blessings.

WWOE

Oh magnify the lord with me and let us exalt his name together!

As I was asking God on yesterday what to say in the WWOE (Wednesday Words of Encouragement) and he said to tell my people to stop going to other sources for only what I can give them.

We must stop escapism! Escapism is the avoidance of reality by absorption of the mind in entertainment or in an imaginative situation, activity, etc.

Examples of escapism are:
Using drugs and alcohol
Excessive sleeping
Using pornography
Smoking cigarettes
Eating excessively
Sleeping around
Church Highs (Going to church on Sunday only to receive a “touch” to feel better, however not living for God everyday)
Excessive Shopping
Excessive TV/Movie watching

I’m sure this list can go on and on. But I think you get the point. We do not have to engage in any of these activities. God is our source for everything! Have we really tried him? Or do we just talk about it and are still bound?

Men and women of God play time is over! NOW is the time to tighten up!

And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
Romans 13:11

I encourage you to give God everything today even if the situation is real ugly!

Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.
Psalm 55:22

I encourage you to give God your problems today even if it seems impossible!

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
1 Peter 5:7

WWOE-Wednesday Words of Encouragement

Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Psalm 106:1

Praise the Lord everybody! Everybody praise the Lord!

When I woke up this morning and began to pray, the goodness of the Lord just began to overtake me! I began to think of all of the many blessings that he has bestowed upon me. And as I began to thank him,

Another yes to his will and too his way came out of my spirit,

Another yes to presenting my body a living sacrifice holy and acceptable which is my reasonable service came out of my spirit.

Another yes to seeking him first and with a whole heart came out of my spirit.

Has the weight of the world been on your shoulders lately?

Have you been feeling disheartened because of all of the trouble in your life?

Have you lost your zeal or fire for the things of God?

Your praise will produce a yes in your spirit!

Your praise will produce promise!!! I heard a great man of God say from process to promise!

You must go through the process to get to the promise but sometimes going thru the process can be tough and you can get weary and feel like giving up!

But oh my when you begin to praise him!

You provoke the spirit of the lord and he comes to dwell with you!

And where the spirit of the lord is there is liberty!!

You can’t help but get free!

You can’t help but say yes to God!

You cant help but be loosed!

I encourage you to praise God in spite of your circumstances , because this is Gods will for you!

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
1 Thessalonians 5:18

I encourage you to praise God even in your heaviness, because he will turn your mourning into dancing again!

To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
Isaiah 61:3

I encourage you to praise God, with all that is within in you because the joy of the lord is your strength!

Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our LORD: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.
Nehemiah 8:10

But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel. ... But thouart holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel. ...
Psalm 22:3

I encourage you to praise God, praise God, and praise God some more!!!!

Much love and blessings to all of you!
